Visit nordicnightingale.fi and fill out the sign up form. After submitting your application, you will receive email about online orientations.
An online orientation will be conducted to provide an overview of Finnish culture, work, and life, as well as the recruitment process.
In addition, review materials will be distributed to assist you in learning basic Finnish language skills.
Documents will be checked to ensure eligibility for the recruitment program.
Once your documents are approved, you will receive an email to schedule your interview.
An initial screening which includes a personality test and interview will be conducted.
Selected qualified applicants will join the 6 months hands-on and comprehensive language training as well as cultural integration and work orientation. Regular evaluation will be done during the training.
There will be a mid-term assessment on the 3rd month. Top healthcare workers applicants will proceed to medical examinations.
On the 6th month, a final interview with the employer and team members will be conducted, where the employer has the chance to select among the healthcare worker applicants. This will determine who can start to apply for the residence permit.
Upon successfully completing language training, the processing of residence permit will start. We will assist you in completing applications, obtaining a residence permit, and any other paperwork that may be required along the way.
A flight to Finland will be booked once your residence permit has been approved.
Language training and cultural integration will continue until departure to Finland.
Prior to your departure to Finland, you will receive our tailored pre-departure coaching to help you get ready and ensure a seamless transition to your new journey in Finland. Bon voyage to your exciting Finnish adventure!
When you arrive in Finland, we will meet you at the airport and transport you to your new apartment. Proper orientation and guidance will be provided. We will also help you set up bank accounts, register with population services, tax matters, police ID, KELA, HSL, and become acquainted with your new workplace. We are here to help you settle into your new home as smoothly as possible.
